guests said about us.
Up until then we had only had a hotel vacation.
It was such a nice vacation that we will be visiting again on September 3rd.
I'm already counting the days.
It's hard to describe what this place does to you. All I can say is that your soul goes on holiday there.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that you can complain about.
Simply brilliant.
See you soon . Kind regards Frank and Silvia.
Our glamping tent was spacious and clean, the staff fantastic, the swimming pool splendid, the restaurant area excellent, the outdoor cinema top, the activities as well. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, free sunbeds. The food in the Tavern is exquisite, the breakfasts FANTASTIC. In short, everything was truly wonderful!
There are many things we liked about Sails on Kos:
1. The unique concept, where the tents are extremely comfortable yet provide all the amenities of a typical hotel room.
2. The grounds are very well maintained.
3. The nearby beach is beautiful and offers a lot of privacy due to its size.
4. There’s a lovely town within a short walking distance that has many restaurants, stores, and a supermarket, which made things easy for us since we didn’t have a car.
5. The on-site swimming pool has plenty of seating.
6. The on-site restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, was a blessing. The food was delicious, and we never had to eat anywhere else during our five-night stay.
7. One of the highlights of our visit was listening to a “cello concert” by one of the family members while we sat in front of our tent, reading and sipping delicious smoothies.
8. Perhaps the most impressive part of Sails on Kos is the people who work there. It’s primarily run by an amazingly friendly and helpful family, along with their considerate full-time and volunteer staff. My wife and I travel frequently, and this place stands out in terms of customer service. You don’t feel like a customer; instead, you feel like part of their extended “family.”
Thank you, Alexi, Maddie, Pheline, Shane Rose, and all the other family members and staff. You all helped us make beautiful memories in Kos, and we look forward to returning.
The restaurant on site was amazing, to the point myself and partner only ate out twice in our stay as loved the food at Sails on Kos so much! See below pictures.
My only comment if your planning a trip would to bring ear plug if you’re a light sleeper as nearby resort can play music till late. But it didn’t disturb us and we slept very well.
Staff were so friendly and helpful.. Nothing was too much trouble.
Easy buses and free bikes and we also hired a beach buggy.
Fan ecommendation for the Olive oil factory.
Pool area was perfect... Large pool and comfy and very available loungers.
And I leave the best to last... The restaurant was excellent with daily specials - we ate there 4 out if 5 nights!!!
Breakfast was plentiful and varied.
Would most definitely go back!
The food at their restaurant? Seriously some of the best I've had. Breakfast was included and totally delicious - you can order as much as you want. Staff were mostly young travellers/gap year but they were great. Really liked the Kiwi working breakfast and the Irish and German girls at dinner (didn't catch their names, sorry).
Loved how family-friendly it was. Our two-year-old had a blast meeting the families kids. Tons of toys and books for her to use, even stuff for the pool. But her favourite thing was walking their dog Mango around the place!
100% would recommend Sails. Already thinking about when we can go back. Big thanks to the whole crew for an awesome stay.
