 Yoga

Lynn is originally from the UK and has been teaching yoga on Kos Island for 9 years, and SUP yoga for 6 years. She is fully qualified to teach Hatha Yoga, Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga, Yin Yoga and Aerial Flow Yoga. After a health scare and finding no relief with conventional medicine she decided on a more holistic approach to healing. Yoga bought her so much relief and healing that she made it her mission to share the incredible power of yoga with as many people as possible. 

Lynn teaches all levels from pure beginners to advanced students. Her style of teaching is practical, down to earth and uncomplicated. She teaches classes in English, with different variations of the poses which are always fully demonstrated so that people can work within their own limits. She encourages people to go at their own pace, practice in a non-competitive way, and rest whenever they may need to.  Her classes are about listening to and respecting our bodies, quietening our minds, and being connected to our breath and the present moment.

At Lynns´ classes you will find a friendly, open and welcoming vibe, and you will leave feeling relaxed and revitalized, and so much more connected to yourself and to your surroundings.

An ancient Chinese martial art is a physical exercise and a practical system of maintaining health and well-being. Classes are opened for everybody, independently of physical conditions. It doesn’t require an intense level of energetic output or special muscular power. Age is not an obstacle.

The one-hour class includes stretching exercises that are designed to release the body from tension and restlessness, the rhythmic breathing regulates the energy inside your body. Exercises that combine movement and stillness. Soft repetitive and simple movements a meditation in motion

This will be followed by a more dynamic part with some martial applications, which help to revitalize the musculature and the organs and increase internal energy.

It can play an important role in strengthening the arms and legs, improving the flexibility of the joints and balance of the body. It improves the condition of the nervous system, enhances the functions of the cardio-vascular and respiratory systems.

It allows us to develop patience and confidence, and a general sense of wellbeing. At the end of the class, you will feel energetic, peaceful and in harmony

Our sessions take place on Sails on Kos’s  Anemofilousa (kissing the sea breeze)  beach, facing the invigorating Aegean sea, bare feet in the sand contact with mother earth come and join us.

MEDITATION

Meditation may be used with the aim of reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and pain, and increasing peace, perception, self-concept, and well-being. Guests will be able to book private or group sessions in the below kinds of meditation that are offered.

Loving-kindness meditation

Loving-kindness meditation is also known as Metta meditation. Its goal is to cultivate an attitude of love and kindness toward everything, even a person’s enemies and sources of stress

Zen meditation

Zen meditation, sometimes called Zazen is a form of meditation that can be part of Buddhist practice. Many Zen practitioners study under a teacher because this kind of meditation involves specific steps and postures

REIKI

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
