This year we welcome Laura Louise (known as Lou) as our guru of all things wellness. Lou has travelled the world teaching Yoga from the amazing landscapes of the Morocco deserts to the sands of one of Indonesia’s most remote islands. Yes, we’re serious, she’s here, ready to treat us to a summer of Yoga, Pilates, Massage and more! Let’s listen to what she has to say…
“ Firstly, I have to say I am so excited to meet you all and to share some unforgettable moments under the Greek sun. I invite you to join me, slow right down, unwind and cultivate a fresh sense of self. I understand that navigating modern day life can be challenging(particularly right now) and I realise the importance of human connection. Each of my sessions are led in welcoming and intimate groups, the peaceful setting of Sails on Kos means you will be surrounded by
nature as we practice together. We will use traditional yoga, somatic movements, meditation and philosophy to discover the expansive, ever changing textures of both our internal and external environment. It is my aim to create an opportunity for ease, resilience and connectivity in the human body and to ignite our natural capacity to feel the intelligence of the earth.
Outside of movement sessions I offer bodywork sessions and some of my favourite treatments from across the globe. Enter the evening with a clear mind and silky locks after my special combination of Indian Head massage with a Balinese hair treatment. Or maybe you’d prefer a relaxing Swedish lymphatic massage to detox all of your worries away, the choice is yours! The combination of these treatments, bodywork sessions and movement practices will create radical shifts in energy throughout your body and I can promise you, you will leave us feeling nourished and refreshed. Through this gentle movement and breathwork we will cultivate a new connected sense of self. It is my aim to create an opportunity for ease, resilience and relaxation in the human body. Sessions are suitable for both beginners and the advanced practitioner, there will be a variety of classes and to keep the little ones healthy and happy, I will also be offering childrens yoga sessions.

An ancient Chinese martial art is a physical exercise and a practical system of maintaining health and well-being. Classes are opened for everybody, independently of physical conditions. It doesn’t require an intense level of energetic output or special muscular power. Age is not an obstacle.
The one-hour class includes stretching exercises that are designed to release the body from tension and restlessness, the rhythmic breathing regulates the energy inside your body. Exercises that combine movement and stillness. Soft repetitive and simple movements a meditation in motion
This will be followed by a more dynamic part with some martial applications, which help to revitalize the musculature and the organs and increase internal energy.
It can play an important role in strengthening the arms and legs, improving the flexibility of the joints and balance of the body. It improves the condition of the nervous system, enhances the functions of the cardio-vascular and respiratory systems.
It allows us to develop patience and confidence, and a general sense of wellbeing. At the end of the class, you will feel energetic, peaceful and in harmony
Our sessions take place on Sails on Kos’s Anemofilousa (kissing the sea breeze) beach, facing the invigorating Aegean sea, bare feet in the sand contact with mother earth come and join us.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
